Let’s chat essential oils in the garden! I’ve been putting work into our back yard garden this past spring; rebuilding soil, weeding and starting seeds from scratch. Recently I began to notice some of my plants being eaten. I asked around what could be eating them and it was a wide range from fungus, caterpillars, bunnies, birds to squirrels.
Then I remembered Young Living uses oils for weed/pest control so I researched what oils I could use in my own garden.
For a General Garden Insect deterrent spray - here’s a recipe via The Happy Morhering Blog I am giving a try:
Add 10 drops of the following essential oils to a 4-ounce glass spray bottle: Rosemary oil, peppermint oil, clove oil and thyme oil. Fill the rest of the bottle with water and shake to mix. Apply anywhere you would like to get rid of insects
