Hi All! I thought I would come on here and say a little bit about my company since so many new followers recently. Thank you again everyone for your support! 💜SunnySide Upcycled began about 5 years ago. It all started when I decided to refurbish some furniture pieces I had of my own. Soon as I posted them on Facebook, people were interested in having me refurbish their own pieces, or buy ones that I had done. I then started making signs out of pallet wood. The are all are custom made, the customer can pick size, color and content.
After being a vendor at many craft shows I decided in 2018 to follow my dreams of purchasing a camper, and refurbishing that into my mobile store. This way I can sell my handmade items right out of the camper. I found a tiny camper that was refurbished originally from a pop up camper with the ends taken off. I fell in love, and over the last two years I have made my dream a reality. I call her Wild Ride. This summer I plan to attend outdoor events such as festivals, food truck shows, and farmers markets, with Wild Ride.
This past year I have also added other upcycled items to my inventory. I now make jewelry, clothing and other unique items. I have intergrated my love of upcycling, re-using, and recycling with design. I am an interior designer as well as a yoga teacher. I love being in the outdoors as much as I can, also on my Stand Up Paddle Board or my snowboard. I like to this of my design style as rustic boho.
My goal with my company in the upcoming years is to go completely mobile with my shop, as well as the ability to come right to client for interior design needs, with my mobile store/office. As well as hosting outdoor workshops with yoga and crafting all working out of Wild Ride at these locations. #upcycle #refurbish #smallbusiness
