God has created everything with a function and a purpose, satan (the devil) has long tried to imitate #god in everything created to be praised and occupy that command post, music is no exception to what the #devil uses.
As the Lord #jesus Christ said to that Samaritan woman, the Father seeks true worshipers who will adore him. After all, he created us, gave us life, for that: so that we adore him; and saved us to do it "in spirit and in truth . " May the Lord find in us the worshipers he is seeking!
Satan is the prince of this world and seeks worshipers in the flesh and in lies. Music directed at man and his pleasures such as urban genre (reggaeton, trap, etc.) has been a widely used object to praise satan lately with lyrics full of sex, murder, anger and any number of abominations against the biblical order
How does this work?
Let's analyze this, in a church people gather and sing praises in order to worship God, to make spiritual connections, to bring the presence of God ( Psalm 22: 3 Yet you are holy, you dwell among the praises of Israel.)
Now let's study the opposite side. When dozens (a group singing), thousands (a concert) or millions (radio, tv and youtube) join songs full of sex, violence and pleasures, who do you think lives in that adoration? Or what do you think it will bring? The spirit world is full of demons whispering apostasy against faith ( 1 Timothy 4: 1) and that they prowl to inhabit man, damage his spiritual state and therefore his physical state and they need to enter your life somewhere (Matthew 12: 43-45). So think for a moment and tell me: Doesn't the excessive increase in homicides, sexual sins, aberrations, wars and all that seem strange to you in recent times when everything is more liberal? Demons nurture and connect to this world through that subtle worship that is sometimes just a "harmless song", but the truth is that the bottom is bringing the worst of the spiritual world to our world to harm what God I believe.
So don't join that chorus that praises the
