I thought i'd do a post about my lil' DIY project from last year.
So i decided i didn't really like the look of my bassguitar.Altough i only started playing a year and a half ago the bass was purchased 3 years prior to that.
Life has its ways.
I have been wanting to play an instrument since i was a child.
Took some time but here we are, never to late to start anything.
I am in love with using my hands to do work and when the thought came to my head i was like "i can do that".
So with very little research and some previous basic knowledge in carpentry and woodwork i just jumped ahead into this!
Looking back now i was somewhat crazy because i didn't really have all the tools i needed.
I was so motivated and excited i just started.
It took me about 3 days and a lot of sanding paper.
Yeah, i did it by hand.Boy was i just sanding away.
Wood dust all over me.In my nose, my hair, on my face....
Halfway there i was already doubting if this was a good ideea or not.I had nothing left to do but see how this was gonna turn out.@bughy47 helped me with this. And im very grateful, he always supports my crazy ideeas. He helped with the electronic/electric, parts of the instrument.
Thank you 😘
I'm very pleased with the way it turned out.
It was very fun and its amazing to do things from scratch with your hands.
I guess what i want to say is, START CREATING.
LISTEN TO THAT VOICE INSIDE♥️
