Protein oats - easiest breakfast/snack🥰
I literally woke up for this. This overnight oats recipe has been a go to for me for long time! What I love about oat meals is the recipes are very versatile, you can technically put anything.
Just until two years ago, I never enjoyed and liked oatmeal! It was yucky and tasted like a boiled carton paper! Yes paper haha so if any of you still trying to find a delicious and easy oat recipe try this out. You can make the recipe warm but personally I enjoy the overnight one most and its completely ready to go in the morning!😎 I add protein powder (either vanilla or chocolate) but you can skip it! I usually go with chocolate with this one.
1/2 cup of rolled oats
1tbsp chia seeds ( I sometimes add flax seeds too)
1scoop of protein powder
1tsp of Cocoa or cacao power
1/2 cinnamon powder
1/2 vanilla extract
1/3 of mashed banana(you can skip this)
1 or 2 tbsp of nut butter of your choice ( I use plain almond butter)
And anything else you want to add: maple syrup, nuts, honey, yogurt!, etc
Berries, fruits of choice!
Combine everything into a bowl with 1/2 cup or more of any nut milk or water until it becomes thick, little watery you will see the right consistency. Mix everything together, and cover with plastic wrap or lid. I usually make it around 11-12pm, grab next morning, and eat around 9-10am (THE BEST)♥️ When I work 9-5 I add all ingredients, but since I have much more time now I sliced fresh fruits in the morning, I like this more!
