you're staying in. Same situation, same space, same action, one ensures calm the other induces fear, anxiety. Fight.

One you are obliged to.

You have to stay in right?
But you want to feel better, less anxiety.
So the way you train yourself to look at this will make all the difference.
Speak to yourself using your concious self
😣I have to stay in.
🤔No I want to stay in because.........?
😣I am not allowed out
🤔No I am safer inside, for now.
😑I am not safe inside.
🤔What can I do?, my actions are my own. I can call, message, contact the local gov help, police, support. They are here to help me. I choose to not be rulled by fear. The unknown is scary but so is this. Connect.
😓I will be here for months
🤔What could I do in this time? Give yourself a MASSIVE list of things to do : The garage, my cupboards, clean the whole place, work on my relationship with God, watch all the beneficial lectures, take a daily walk. Learn some home cooked meals. Home workout . Do something fun with the kids, explore planting. Etc Actually maybe months wont be enough? I have time.
🙋♀️It took me a few days to find a way to view this & feel better about it. 1st week of lockdown I saw it as, I am not allowed out. All i wanted to do was go out. 2nd, I see this as an opportunity for a lifestyle change, make myself out, Try the balcony once a day. Do a mini routine & actually now we don't always feel like we have time to go out. All that changed was how I saw this.
Time to find a new way & practice. I am sure I will need to do another perception soon as things change again. That's ok. I'll let out the emotion. Give myself time. Start looking for another helpful one.
