This is not a happy post. This is a post that will make you cry. So grab your tissues before you read this.
Cory Ronan Verblen, born May 21, 1978 died March 13, 2018.
Cory was my best friend, my heart and my soul. Though we lived in different countries and timezones, we always made time for each other. Cory passed away, from a heart attack alone in his Chicago apartment, just short of his 40th birthday. He worked from home, so he didn’t get out much, he also was a smoker. While he had his battles, he was also a gifted musician! His passion was for guitar, having played since he was a teen. Whenever he picked up a guitar his eyes would sparkle. He is part of my inspiration, for fitness, life, love, and being. He would give anything to help a friend, he would go above and beyond for his family, he was a great man full of love. I am blessed that I had him as apart of my life for the 10 years we had. He was what some would call “my soulmate” or my “twin flame”. I miss him everyday, and hope I am making him proud of me in everything I do. Thank you all for reading this, it has taken a lot for me to write this. #lovelostbutnotforgotten #rip #mylosthalf
