• Clean Water For Fiji •
5 years ago, we set out on a mission to deliver portable water filtration systems to villages without access to clean water.
Having access to clean water not only reduces the risk of waterborne diseases, but also improves many other aspects of life.
Many people get their drinking water from dirty creeks, whilst some villages have a very restricted water supply. But more importantly, schools only remain open if they can provide clean water.
Clean water = less sick days = more education = citizen empowerment.
Clean water is a fundamental right that we take for granted every day.
And it is those people who don’t have access to it, that are most vulnerable in a global pandemic of this kind. The filters we delivered need to be replaced soon, but now we are stuck in isolation. We hope to get more filters to this area in the near future. A big thanks goes to everyone that got involved in this project and to @wavesforwater & @jon_rose for making this possible!
