Languages. We all have one, some have many. This is mine.
Trying to carve out your own tiny niche in this ever expanding community of talented artists is hard. Being different is hard. This is what makes me, me. Big beautiful stones. The highest grade and best quality that I can source, from some of the most amazing lapidaries in the country. I find joy in taking these already beautiful bits of earth and combining them with other elements to create something that is unique and cheerful. Bringing it’s wearer happiness each time it’s placed on his or her finger. A piece that will hopefully make someone stop scrolling. A single stolen moment in time to enjoy something that was made with so much love, from the miner who pulled this perfect combination of minerals out of the earth, to the lapidary who recognized it’s potential and cut it to highlight its natural beauty, and finally to me. Silver melted down & rolled out to the perfect thickness on my rolling mill. Each tiny little element made with my own two hands. A thick stamped bezel created to add subtle detail without taking away from the overall design. A true labor of love. This is my life’s work. My purpose. This colorful ring is exactly what I needed to see finished today. It brings me happiness as I try to adjust my life to this new reality we’re all dealing with. Staying home, keeping my hands and my mind busy, because right now, that’s the most I can ask for ❤️
