Making some time ⏰ for health & fitness.
Life can be challenging (okay that’s an understatement), and often finding time to exercise can be difficult. Let’s look at some ways we can manage this problem . 🤜 The first place we need to start is by asking ourselves this question “Is my health important?” Obviously since you are here the resounding answer should be YES!
The reason this is important to ask though is to make it REAL. Without your health, could you go to work? Take care of the family ? Enjoy life? No.
So this should be our starting point always. 🤜Okay....next . Take a look at your schedule and write out everything!! Even when you take your regular bathroom time 💩! Seriously... everything . Put it out where you can look at it . 🤜 next ... keeping in mind health is your priority, find holes in your schedule.
These will be times where you plan your meals, go for a quick walk, get a quick workout in ... whatever. Our goal here is not to get carried away and overwhelmed (and risk stopping all together). If 10 minutes is all you have to start ... then That’s what you do. Our goal is to create habits in the beginning, NOT to win the next tough mudder. 🤜Okay, now that we have those times figured out let’s set them in stone and make them non-negotiable times where you take care of your health. 🤜Fianaly... we may need to get creative. We want to make sure we have family time, so instead of skipping the workout let’s encourage the family to be active as well. Go for a walk, bike ride, trail adventures, climb trees, play tag. Get creative & have fun!!
