...in which my OCs continue to exclusively consume and enjoy the same media as me. (Doctor Who progress update: I'm three episodes away from finishing series four.) I only set out to comment on the eyeliner so this is my real thought process recorded live, just put through a gentle filter to pretend it's Mick.
easier to read version of the text:
—she was born, created, with eyeliner on just like all her clothes, but first of all clothes can be taken off, washed, and put on, and second of all it makes sense to wear them as a soldier whose life goal is war, whereas eyeliner like that is not as obviously helpful, and she was not born with a thing of eyeliner in her hand so how will she reapply it? Do they have makeup? For that matter how's she going to take this round off when it starts to get messy– didn't they say something at the beginning about clean hands– the eyeliner isn't part of her body, is it? Why wasn't she born naked? Who created such an advanced machine that it makes clothes as well as bodies? Actually this technology is some of the most advanced we've seen anywhere– where does this lot fall on the master timeline of the human species? Also, are the fishy guys actually talking when they make the gurgling sounds, and if so why isn't it translated as a language? They act the same as the humans… do they really not have speech with one another? Are they born with those bubbly things in their faces or would they die if they weren't born somewhere with the right technology or are they able to live underwater? Wait, they're born from the machines too, aren't they, so it's just like the eyeliner! Why do they have the same technology as the humans, anyway? Did they arrive together? Why did this war start! It was sort of programmed into the machine, how! Why! Who hid the map! Gabriela we need to rewatch the episode, I don't know what things I missed and what actually wasn't covered. This daughter business introduces needless complications that obscure the story I actually want to hear—
