“We all need to believe that what we desire in righteousness can someday, some way, somehow yet be ours. We have every reason to hope for blessings even greater than those we have already received, because this is the work of Almighty God.” - Jeffrey R Holland
The first weekend of April and October, the leaders of my church host an annual 2-day worldwide conference broadcast. With various speakers and subjects, all pointing to Jesus Christ, His life, mission and Atoning sacrifice.
This year was an exceptional experience as COVID-19 social distancing caused for the conference to be only available digitally. I was especially touched by the above quote regarding hope. His entire speech focused on the power of hope, where to find it and why we need it to survive. Without hope, what do we have? Where do you find hope?
With so many changes in our daily lives recently, it is easy to be consumed by the paralyzing fear of the unknown. I feel more grateful now than ever for the hope and direction I find in Jesus Christ and His restored gospel.
If you’re unsure about where to find hope, or wondering what you could possible have faith in during these crazy times or are simply just interested in listening to the broadcast- head to my stories for the link.
