Maybe the best factory yet?! On @cbeebieshq today I explored a TRACTOR factory! 🚜 Oh yes. It was ENORMOUS and the robots were insanely cool. I hope you enjoy all the brand new episodes, there are some really great ones 😊👍
A quick walk in the garden with Dave (the teddy)! This is just one of the five 'Camera Tricks' we showed the #letsgolive audience during Magic Week! For this one we played with scale and perspective. Thanks for sending in all your supersize snaps, we've seen some hilarious creations!
It's #worldbeeday but sadly it's been over 8 weeks since I've been able to visit the girls at my mum and dads! 🐝 Last time I dropped in I was recording something pretty special though... Luckily we have SO many different types of bee in our garden at home. We leave lots of messy spots for native plants so they've been loving the wild areas of the garden! If you're looking for bee related activities head to my YouTube channel because you'll find LOADS of beekeeping videos! You could also make a bee hotel or a bee cafe?! Our chief pollinators will thank you for it :-)
Today's episode of #letsgolive was all about LEVITATION and we showed you three ways to practise defying gravity! In the show we explored levitating a 'golden snitch', hovering 'magic carpets' and floating feathers with the classic 'Wingardium leviosa' spell! To see how we did it, you can watch the episode back on YouTube!
During lockdown me and @gregfoot were sent two e-bikes to test ride for @fullychargedshow and see what we thought. This is the @flitbike , a fold down electric bike, designed and made in Cambridge! So it was pretty fitting to cycle into the city and stop outside the STUNNING King's College! I'm not a seasoned cyclist and I'm new to e-bikes but I thought this was super fun to ride! The five levels of assistance were really affective and I loved having the extra oomph at a red light to help with acceleration. I also liked that the bike was light enough to not be a heavy struggle to cycle without the assistance on. (Some bikes e-bikes I've tried have been HEAVY) This is a fold down bike so it's designed for commuters, getting on and off trains etc. And I reckon for that it would be ideal. (Perhaps not so much for long bike rides on city cobbles!) I loved the e-bike, but we both feel that at the moment the journeys we take by bike are short enough to not need the assistance, plus we like the excersise on the few hills we do get round our parts. However, I totally understand why for some people these will be game changing and will give a lot of people cycling confidence! I'd love to know your thoughts! Have you tried one? Do you want one? (Not an AD but we were sent the bike to try)#ebike #electricbike #cambridge #flit #fullycharged
We're really excited to introduce our brand new Let's Go Live t-shirts! They're inspired by all our themes and the brilliant community we're proud to have grown on the channel. https://maddiemoate.teemill.com/collection/lets-go-live/ We wanted to launch this weekend as it's a 'Buy One Get One Tree' weekend, so for every t-shirt you buy, Teemill will plant a tree! 🌳 We have been working with Teemill to create these t-shirts as we love their ethos around clothes manufacturing! Let's Go Live t-shirts are made of soft certified organic cotton and printed on demand in a factory powered by renewable energy. PLUS when you've worn-out your t-shirt , you can send it back to the factory (for free!), they'll recycle it into new products and send you a voucher for money off your next purchase! We went to the factory and filmed a video about how they're made if you'd like to know more: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DuozdyI0ySs The t-shirts are £15-20 (for kids and adults). We appreciate this is slightly more expensive than other kids clothing brands, however they're set at this price point because they aren't being mass manufactured (it's not printed until you place an order), they're delivered in splash-proof paper packaging rather than cheap plastic envelopes, the material is great quality PLUS the cost of recycling the t-shirt is built in. We hope you love them as much as we do! Stay Curious! Maddie and Greg
Dudun...dudun...dudun..dudun..dudun...dahh! SHARK! 🌊🦈 Here's the paper plate shark mask we made on wednesday show! Where has the week gone?! Can't quite believe it's Friday and Oceans week is already over. It's time to pack down our spare room submersible and get things jazzed up for Magic Week! ALSO stay tuned for some more #letsgolive news this weekend! Eeek!
Thank you for sending us photos of your coral reef dioramas to #letsgolive ! We've seen HUNDREDS and every single one is so beautiful and crafty! (I've even seen some kelp forest models which is amazing!) As always we'll be showing a selection in today's show - We wish we could show more but sadly we'd never have time to share any new activities if we did! All of your emails get seen and we appreciate every single one x
Oceans Week is in full swing on #letsgolive ! Yesterday we made rockpools and learnt about wildlife along the seashore and we've loved seeing your rockpools and blubber glove experiments. Despite our tech issues yesterday was actually one of my favourite shows yet, we're still giggling about all the tech fails! 🤣 #yellowboxes Today we explored coral reefs and made a coral reef in a shoebox! (No doubt you'll impress us with your crafts tomorrow too) and TOMORROW we have special guest @bigpoppablowfish on the show to talk to us about marine giants 🐋🦑🦈. Hope you're enjoying it as much as we are!
