Take care of your feet! While many are forced to stay home with no gym access, this is a great time to focus on an incredibly overlooked area...your feet! Many of us are in shoes for a majority of the day. A lot of these shoes (dress shoes, heels, etc) are horrible for your feet over an extended period of time. They can cause the smaller intrinsic muscles of the foot to “turn off” This leads to some obvious problems (plantar fasciitis and achilles tendinitis) but could also be the cause of some knee, hip, and back pain that you’re having a tough time figuring out the cause of. A great barefoot routine to “wake up” your feet: 1) Toe pickups 2) Barefoot jump rope (shadow jump rope if you don’t have a rope) 3) Elevated ball of foot calf raises 4) Elevated ball of foot SL Bridge Be consistent with taking care of your feet and watch pain go down and athleticism go up. #homeworkout #feet #footcare #painrelief #training #knees #hips #back #barefoot #barefeet #barefoottraining #quarantine #quarantineworkout
